With its high citronellal content, this oil smells more like citronella than it does of eucalyptus, but has a barely detectable camphorous hint typical of the Eucalyptus family. For obvious reasons, a very effective insect repellent. Add a bit of sparkle to a room freshener or any lemony blend.
Best used in aromatherapy for respiratory congestion, emphysema, and smoking related problems - Lemon Eucalyptus EO is known to open sinus and bronchial passages and helps with laryngitis and sore throats.
